Notes: Peter was the oldest son of six children. The White family lived in the small village of Valleymount, in Blessington, Co Wicklow, Ireland for many generations. It's not known when/how he left Ireland for the USA but family rumor claims he was brought to Missouri from Ireland as a young boy with his family and settled in St. Louis & Carthage MO working as a stonemason constructing the great buildings of St. Louis. He was first discovered with his wife Crescentia in Rolla MO where they got married. They lived their entire lives and are buried in Rolla MO. They had seven children, and Rose was born 1885 in Rolla MO. Peter & Crescentia are listed in the 1900 census (Rolla MO), 1910 census (Jasper Co MO), and 1920 (Rolla MO). He was living with his wife in St. Louis MO when he died on 29Jan1928 (4201 Manchester Avemue, St. Louis MO) and had been living there for the past 6 years (1922-1928). He was buried in Rolla Catholic Cemetery on 31Jan. His death certificate shows he died from pneumonia at 63 years old.
